Team ProLog is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead day-to-day operations supporting a major Department of the Navy logistics program. The Warehouse Manager will oversee all material receipt, storage, issue, and accountability functions in accordance with Navy ERP processes and performance standards. This key leadership position ensures safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse operations supporting mission readiness.
Responsibilities:
+ Direct and coordinate all warehouse activities including receipt, inspection, storage, issue, and disposition of government material.
+ Manage cost, schedule, and performance metrics to optimize warehouse efficiency and meet program objectives.
+ Develop and implement warehouse operations Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that meet or exceed government standards
+ Supervise and motivate warehouse personnel to achieve productivity and quality targets while maintaining compliance with Navy and DoD standards.
+ Maintain accurate records in Navy ERP and ensure timely reporting of inventory, discrepancies, and material movement.
+ Implement and monitor safety and risk management procedures consistent with Navy and OSHA requirements.
+ Communicate effectively with Government stakeholders, internal management, and cross-functional logistics teams.
+ Identify and mitigate operational risks to sustain continuous accountability and mission support.
Desired Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience managing warehouse operations within the Department of Defense, preferably the Department of the Navy.
+ Demonstrated experience with Navy ERP, Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), or comparable DoD warehouse management systems.
+ Proven ability to manage cost, schedule, and performance to meet program objectives.
+ Strong leadership and communication skills with experience managing diverse warehouse teams.
+ In-depth understanding of risk management policies and assessment methodologies.
+ Knowledge of Navy and DoD logistics policies, including supply accountability, inventory control, and safety standards.
Preferred:
+ Active DoD security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
+ Experience in government contracting supporting U.S. Naval agencies.
+ Experience with Warehouse Modernization and Layout Planning.
+ OSHA Forklift Certification or equivalent warehouse safety credentials.
