As a **Principal Mobile MDM Engineer** , you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional IT support to the customer. As a Principal Mobile MDM Engineer, you'll engineer MDM deployments using platforms like Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, or Jamf Pro, including architecture design, scalability planning, and phased rollouts for government mobile fleets. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include integrating MDM solutions with on-premises and cloud services, conducting continuous monitoring, log analysis, and performance optimization to support device management policies and compliance requirements.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
+ 10 years of experience in MDM engineering, with hands-on expertise in deployments, on-premises/cloud integrations, monitoring, log analysis, and performance optimization in government or large enterprise environments
+ Proven track record supporting device management policies and compliance for mobile ecosystems in regulated settings
+ Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be current and transferable)
+ Strong knowledge of federal mobile security standards (e.g., NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs) and ITIL practices for service operations
+ Proficiency in MDM platforms (e.g., Intune, AirWatch) and monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM integrations)
+ Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills for complex mobile security challenges
+ Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness

+ IEEE certification (e.g., IEEE Wireless Communications Professional)
+ WCET (Wireless Communications Engineering Technologies) certification
+ Experience supporting DoD or large federal MDM programs, including zero-trust integrations and cloud-native mobile management
+ ITIL 4 Foundation certification
+ Background in scripting for automation (e.g., PowerShell for policy deployment) and endpoint security tools (e.g., CrowdStrike Falcon)
+ Master's degree in a relevant field or additional certifications (e.g., CISSP)
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $94728 - $161038
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
