    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Secret Cleared Sr. Real time embedded software engineer to join a rapidly growing team in Rancho Carmel, CA. The ideal candidate will have hands on expertise with real-time embedded systems. This person should be well versed in both deterministic and non-deterministic code. They will be responsible for understanding the nuances between these types of codes and understanding what is needed to do both. This person should have experience working in a fast-paced lab environment. This person will be responsible for the mentorship of more junior team members without personnel management duties.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Active DoD secret clearance

     

    - Bachelors degree in engineering or other related field

     

    - 15-20 years of experience in embedded software development and engineering with at least 10 specifically in real-time embedded systems

     

    - Background writing deterministic and non-deterministic code - Masters in engineering or other related field

     

    - Experience mentoring junior engineers
