What We Need:
Brady Corporation is looking for an Associate UX Designer. As Associate UX Designer, you will design and deliver intuitive, accessible digital experiences across our global websites and mobile applications, guiding users from discovery to purchase. You will translate campaigns and business strategies into clear, user-friendly CMS content (articles, case studies, guides, etc.). You will also help maintain and evolve Brady’s global design system, supporting collaboration with high-fidelity prototypes and specifications. This entry-level role suits those passionate about UX fundamentals (layout, accessibility, usability) and eager to grow through hands-on experience and mentorship within a global digital ecosystem.
What You'll Be Doing:
+ Apply UX best practices and design fundamentals, including information hierarchy, interaction design, accessibility, responsive layouts, and component reusability to ensure consistency and scalability across global experiences.
+ Contribute to the design and maintenance of Sticky™, Brady’s global design system—documenting components, updating Figma libraries, and ensuring accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) standards.
+ Support Figma prototype production, annotation, and developer handoff to ensure designs are accurately implemented across devices and browsers.
+ Assist in content and component creation, QA and maintenance during Sitecore XM and Adobe Magento 2 platform migrations.
+ Participate in design reviews, taking feedback from senior designers and translating it into actionable improvements.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with content designers, merchandisers, and developers to maintain cohesive, user-centered interfaces.
+ Observe and assist with usability testing, analytics reviews through Quantum Metric and Adobe Clarity, and user feedback loops to understand how UX decisions impact performance.
+ Responsibly and effectively advocate for the customer, fostering a shared understanding of the customer-centric intersection between design, content, business, and marketing values.
+ Maintain the communication and information hierarchy along the top of the funnel, e-commerce, search and browse path to navigate and filter customers to their desired location with ease.
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Interactive Media, or equivalent professional experience.
+ 0–1 years of UX or UI design experience, or a related internship, co-op, or portfolio project experience.
+ Understanding of UX fundamentals: layout, visual hierarchy, information architecture, and accessibility.
+ Familiarity with Figma (or similar tools) and interest in maintaining scalable design systems.
+ Foundational knowledge of responsive design, HTML/CSS concepts, and cross-browser behavior.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when producing and labeling specifications.
+ Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and grow within a collaborative, agile environment.
+ Familiarity with Sitecore, Adobe Magento, or other CMS tools is a plus
