    We are seeking a **Functional Consultant** to join our expanding commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) software implementation team. This role is ideal for ambitious, energetic individuals eager to learn and contribute to our growth. As a Functional Consultant, you will collaborate with leading energy experts and work directly with clients to implement innovative solutions.

    Responsibilities

    + Deliver on-site client services, including software training, troubleshooting, enhancement analysis, business process consulting, documentation, and tracking

    + Lead workshops to gather information, plan projects, analyze business and technical processes, document workflows, and resolve issues

    + Conduct business analysis and design, gathering and documenting detailed business and functional requirements for solution development

    + Prepare functional documentation during the requirements gathering phase for the front, middle, and back-office trade life cycle

    + Coordinate project activities during design and development to ensure the technology team understands business requirements

    + Provide support throughout all testing phases, including End-to-End (EtoE) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

    + Assist in developing process and training materials within your functional area

    + Perform system configuration tasks as needed

    Requirements

    + Experience in some of the following areas is preferred:

    + Studying or holding a degree in Business Administration/Management, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems/MIS, Data Science/Analytics, Supply Chain Management/Logistics, Risk Management, Engineering, Economics, STEM, or a related business field

    + Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher

    + Major GPA of 3.5 or higher

    + Rice University is preferred
