    Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

     

    The Ad Product & Systems (APS) audience data product team is responsible for collection, standardization, and management of NBCUniversal’s 1st party data asset. NBCU collected consumer data is used to enable activation, monetization, and data collaboration in secure, privacy-centric ways. The APS audience data product team leads product strategy, development and taxonomy management for 1st party data products, including 1st party audiences and Identity.

     

    As a Sr. Analyst on the audience data product team, you will maintain the quality, integrity, and monitoring of 1st Party Data products. You will interact with stakeholders across APS, Operations & Technology (O&T), Strategy, and Identity.  You will play a key role in establishing and maintaining best practices for data validation, data monitoring/audits, and data quality management across multiple systems.

    What you will do:

    + Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization’s data quality strategy and policies.

    + Establish data quality frameworks that ensure audience data product is well-defined, accurate, and compliant with organizational standards.

    + Collaborate with developers, product, and governance to align data quality initiatives with business needs and priorities.

    + Design and implement data quality metrics and dashboards to track data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.

    + Establish processes to conduct regular data quality audits to identify data issues and ensure adherence to data standards.

    + Analyze data quality issues, identify root causes, and work cross-functionally to resolve them.

    + Lead continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement within data quality processes.

    + Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders on data quality best practices and tools.

    + Stay up-to-date with emerging data quality technologies and best practices to improve data management capabilities.

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum 4+ years of experience in data quality, quality assurance testing, or related data management areas

    + Proven experience in leading data quality initiatives, working in conjunction with developer and product teams to deliver solutions

    + Significant experience in working with data quality management tools and frameworks

    + Proficiency in SQL, Python and dashboarding/visualization tools such as Power BI/Tableau

    + Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex data issues to both technical and non-technical audiences

    + Experience in entertainment and/or digital advertising industries not strictly required but a huge plus

    Additional Requirements:

    This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

    Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000
