This keeps our supply chain flexible and ready for market changes.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
+ Develop and maintain advanced models to support:
+ Customer-centric network design: Optimize DC and store locations, inventory placement, and fulfillment paths based on customer demand and service expectations. Create a dynamic Supply Chain Network. Ensure it can respond to changing customer expectations, omnichannel demand, carrier performance, and cost-to-serve pressures.
+ Omnichannel fulfillment strategies: Evaluate trade-offs between ship-from-store, DC fulfillment, and third-party logistics to improve speed and reduce cost.
+ Inventory health and demand sensing: Use machine learning to forecast demand, identify slow-moving inventory, and improve replenishment strategies.
+ Scenario planning and simulation: Build models to evaluate how strategic recommendations affect customer experience and cost. Examples include new DCs, delivery promises, and promotional events.
+ Network resilience and what-if modeling: Simulate disruptions (e.g., port closures, supplier failures) and their impact on service levels and costs.
+ Examine complex supply chain systems to provide data-driven insights. Support quick actions in a dynamic, integrated supply chain network.
+ Identify and interpret trends and patterns in supply chain performance data to find influences. Identify key drivers. Use results to recommend changes and find areas for improvement.
+ Design and optimize supply chain architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
+ Collaborate with supply chain engineers and IT teams to implement solutions that align with business needs.
+ Conduct supply chain capacity planning and performance analysis to support future growth and technology advancements.
+ Evaluate and integrate new supply chain technologies and tools to enhance performance and efficiency.
+ Provide continuous delivery and deep examination to model multiple facets of impacts associated with supply chain disruptions.
