UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for Family Medicine Physician to join our Family Medicine Clinic in Davenport, IA

+ Outpatient only practice

+ 1.0 FTE with 4 1/2 day work week

Responsibilities

+ Average of 20-25 patients per day; no nights or weekends

+ No inpatient responsibilities

+ Hospitalist Program is responsible for serving adult and pediatric inpatients

+ Telephonic outpatient call only, no need to physically report to clinic/hospital

+ Call shared equitably by primary care providers

+ Calls are triaged through My Nurse Call Center, very minimal call volume

+ Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve

+ General family medicine procedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, casting, etc.

+ Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care

+ Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment

+ Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

+ MD or DO

+ Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine

+ Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa

+ Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician's field of practice

+ Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B exempt)

+ J-1 waiver sponsorship available
