We are seeking a highly technical Sales Operations Engineer to own the technical infrastructure and systems that power our entire go-to-market and client-facing organizations. This role is the primary bridge between our company's strategic goals and the technical execution within our Salesforce ecosystem.

The ideal candidate understands the unique, consultative sales model of the PEO industry and recognizes that Salesforce is the central hub for our entire client lifecycle. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable solutions that support not only a complex sales cycle but also the critical handoffs and workflows that support our Implementation, Client-facing HR, and Benefits teams. Your work will directly impact sales productivity, proposal accuracy, and, most importantly, our ability to deliver a seamless and integrated client experience from the first contact to long-term service. Key Responsibilities

    + Salesforce Platform:

+ Serve as the primary technical owner for Salesforce Sales Cloud.

+ Design, build, and maintain complex automation using Flow to streamline the quote-to-cash process, including proposal generation and handoffs to underwriting or operations.

+ Client LifeCycle & Service Operations

+ Design and manage the automated handoff process from a 'Closed-Won' opportunity to the Implementation team, ensuring all client data is transferred accurately.

+ Partner with Implementation, HR, and Benefits leaders to build and maintain workflows that automate key onboarding tasks, team notifications, and data validation.

+  Build and maintain the technical infrastructure for our client service teams, potentially using Salesforce Cases or Service Cloud, including case assignment rules and escalation paths.

+ Develop reports and dashboards to track key post-sale metrics, such as implementation timelines, client case volume, and resolution speed.

+ Sales Process & Data Engineering:

+ Collaborate with sales leadership to map and continuously optimize our lead-to-opportunity and proposal-to-close processes within Salesforce.

+ Implement validation rules, custom objects, and page layouts to ensure all necessary data for underwriting is captured accurately.

+ Own data integrity, cleansing, and enrichment, particularly for accounts, contacts, and partner data.

    + Systems Integration & Management:

+ Manage and troubleshoot key integrations between Salesforce and our core GTM/HR tech stack (e.g., Marketing Automation, data enrichment tools, and proprietary platforms).

+ Ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and underwriting, benefits, and payroll systems to facilitate smooth client onboarding.

+ Ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and key operational platforms used by underwriting, benefits, and payroll systems to support both client onboarding and long-term service.

    Qualifications & Skills

+ 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in a Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Salesforce Engineer role.

+ Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) is required.

+ Proven, hands-on mastery of Salesforce Flow for complex automation.

+ Direct experience configuring and managing Salesforce CPQ (or a similar enterprise-grade CPQ tool).

+ Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.

+ Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

    Huge Plus (Highly Preferred):

+ Experience in the PEO, HRO, or Benefits/Insurance Broker industry is a major plus.

+ Hands-on experience with Salesforce Partner Relationship Management (PRM) or building custom partner portals.

+ Salesforce Platform App Builder certification.

+ Experience with data integration tools and managing API-based connections.

+ Familiarity with the PEO/HR tech ecosystem (e.g., Kronos, JazzHR, benefits admin platforms).

+ A good understanding of major operating systems, reporting, and database tools

+ Excellent training and presentation skills

This role is Hybrid working 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.

Salary range is up to $160K based on experience
