Overview

We are seeking aCardiac Catheterization Laboratory Manager, sometimes referred to as a Cath Lab Manager, Cath Lab Nurse Manager or Manager of Cardiovascular Services. The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Manager oversees the daily operations, staff, and performance of the Cath Lab to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality cardiac care. Cath Lab Managers role blends clinical knowledge, leadership, and operational management.

Hours:8-hour Shifts – 8:00am to 5:00pm

Responsibilities

**You don’t need to be an RN for this role. If you have your ARRT and experience in the Cath Lab and you’re interested in interviewing we encourage you to apply!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

+ Manage day-to-day Cath Lab operations including workflow, scheduling, staffing, and patient throughput

+ Supervise and develop Cath Lab staff ensuring competencies, training, and performance evaluations

+ Coordinate with cardiologists and surgeons on case preparation, room turnover, protocols, and rapid issue resolution

+ Maintain regulatory compliance and high-quality standards while monitoring key metrics like door-to-balloon times and patient outcomes

+ Oversee equipment, supplies, inventory, and vendor relationships while managing budgets, expenses, and capital planning

+ Serve as a liaison across clinical departments and lead emergency readiness including STEMI activations and call systems

Qualifications

At least 1 year in the Cath Lab or Leadership experience in the hospital, please apply!

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

+ Must have a current and valid state license as a registered nurse

+ A minimum of two years of supervisory/management experience is necessary

+ Five (5) years of coronary care nursing and/or cardiovascular lab experience

+ BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) upon hire and maintain current

Additional Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

+ Basic computer knowledge

+ Proficient in interpreting EKGs and hemodynamic pressure tracings

+ Operates Cardiovascular Laboratory equipment: pressure injectors, hemodynamic monitors, cardiac output computers, etc.

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:

+ Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
