Family Medicine / Primary Care APP (NP or PA) – Goldsboro, NC

**UNC Internal Medicine at Goldsboro** , part of the UNC Health Wayne system, is seeking a dedicated and skilled **Family Medicine or Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant** to join our growing team. Goldsboro, NC is one hour east of Raleigh, and offers a welcoming community, affordable living, and easy access to both the coast and the Triangle.

Position Highlights:

+ Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in a family medicine setting

+ Conduct routine health maintenance visits, physical exams, and preventive screenings

+ Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and heart disease

+ Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses within the scope of primary care

+ Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators to deliver team-based, patient-centered care

+ Participate in quality improvement, care coordination, and population health initiatives

+ Monday–Friday schedule, no nights or weekends required

Qualifications:

+ Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in North Carolina (or eligible)

+ Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program

+ Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or primary care preferred; new graduates with strong primary care clinical rotations are encouraged to apply

+ BLS certification required (ACLS optional)
