WSP is currently initiating a search for a **Health and Safety Manager** for our **South Jordan** office for projects based in Utah. Be involved in projects with our **PMCM Team** and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

Your Impact

+ Perform monthly on-site safety inspections.

+ Provide the Engineer an opportunity to participate in these inspections.

+ Coordinate safety related efforts with the on-site competent safety person.

+ Provide specific project safety orientation

+ Attendance is required for Contractor, Subcontractors, and Department employees working on the project before beginning work at the project.

+ Document attendance.

+ Verify that on-site supervisors have completed and passed OSHA 10-hour Construction training or an OSHA 30-hour Construction training class regardless of company affiliation.

+ Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures

+ Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) related field or equivalent

+ Minimum of 7 years of experience on transportation and large civil construction projects

+ Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

+ Valid Utah driver’s license.
