    Job Description

    Purpose:

    The Administrative Coordinator will support the Industrial Distribution Program housed in the Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution (ETID). This individual will perform complex administrative support duties, assist and coordinate the collection of academic program assessment data, prepare specialized business reports and presentations, and provide financial management support including but not limited to purchasing, invoicing, and expense management.

    Responsibilities:

    + Prepares purchase orders, meal forms, and employee reimbursements for the ID program.

    + Provides high-level administrative support to the ID Program's undergraduate program, which includes preparation of specialized statistical data and financial reports for travel and reimbursements, and program purchases.

    + Assists in maintaining spreadsheets for ID Program which involves updating databases, generating standard reports, etc.

    + Handles staff, faculty, and student conference registration and associated paperwork.

    + Prepares written correspondence and various other clerical/administrative support duties necessary in support of MID and ID academic programs.

    + Organizes Capstone project events such as kick-off and poster presentation involving industry, students, and faculty.

    + Assists with program assessment data collection and coordination.

    + Assists with organizing the industry advisory board meeting for the ID program and prepare the minutes for faculty, and industry advisory board meetings.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    We are recruiting for an Administrative Coordinator level I-II.

    Minimum qualifications for an Administrative Coordinator I:

    + Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and two (2) years of professional experience.

    Minimum qualifications for an Administrative Coordinator II:

    + Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and three (3) years of professional experience.

    *Compensation and classification is based on the analyses of the above qualifications during the recruitment process.
