Job Summary and Qualifications
This position reports to the corporate AVP of Financial Operations for HCA Case Management Division. The Director of Analytics & Reporting directly supports Case Management operations, including CDI and PCN services, as well as other strategic, clinical, and consultative initiatives by providing actionable information and data to aid in the decision-making process. This role will be responsible for the ongoing development of new processes, BI tools and dashboards, and at-scale reporting and analytics. This role must be able to communicate timely and effectively and manage complex projects in a matrix environment under the guidance of the AVP and department Leadership.
Major Responsibilities:
+ Engage with stakeholders at Corporate, Group, Division, and Facility levels to improve and support operations
+ Create scalable analytics and reporting solutions related to Case Management Enterprise initiatives
+ Lead projects of varying levels of complexity from end to end, engaging stakeholders, facilitating overall solutions, and communicating with leadership
+ Automate reporting and analytics needs to reduce manual efforts internal to department as well as at Corporate, Group, Division, and Facilities including but not limited to reporting, & application development
+ Manage internal and external data and analysis requests supporting Corporate, Division, Facility, Regulatory, Legal, and vendor relationships
+ Help develop and deploy BI applications for projects, adhoc needs, and at-scale reporting capabilities
+ Helps develop Proof-of-Concept (POC) models based on translating business requirements and works through matrix to design and implement data architecture and production processes supporting the Enterprise
+ Mentor and manage team to ensure timely deliverables and aid in technical training, while developing team’s skillset and growth
+ Consult as a subject-matter expert on Case Management Services (including PCN & CDI) databases and datasets for changes, education, and reference information - Involves testing for change data capture, annual regulatory updates, and for new data integration
+ Provide guidance, direction, training, analytical, and technical expertise to corporate, division, facility, and department staff especially focused on Case Management Enterprise applications and reporting
+ Maintain strong relationships with other business units such as Clinical Services, Parallon, Operations, Performance Improvement, DT&I IT&S, and Field Staff (Divisions & Facilities)
+ Main resource for adhoc analysis, data requests for Case Management Services
+ Performs other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
+ Bachelor's degree required
+ Master's degree preferred
+ 5+ years of experience in a leadership role preferred
+ 7+ years of experience in healthcare preferred
+ 3+ years of experience in SQL required
+ 3+ years of experience in BI Tool development required
+ Occasional Travel: The job may require travel from time to time, but not on a regular basis
