    ### Job Duties

    Start Date: 12/01/2025

    End Date: 03/31/2026

    Hours: 40 hours/week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hours/day. 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    30-minute lunch break offered; 2 15-minute breaks offered

    Possible weekend/holiday work. Work may begin or end earlier or later than usual. Evening and/or night hours may be required. Additional rest or meal periods may be provided in accordance with applicable state laws.

     

    Duties include but are not limited to the following: Examine equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions. Dismantle defective parts. Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operation, and making adjustments, as necessary. Clean and lubricate parts. Test and replace electrical components. Tune or overhaul engines. Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance. Test mechanical equipment to ensure proper functioning & other related Farm Equipment Mechanic activities as per SOC/OES 49-3041 (onetonline.org).

     

    All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified.

     

    Based on Employer's discretion/cost: Worker may have random drug/alcohol testing during employment: positive test/refusal to abide = dismissal.

    No High School Diploma or GED required.

    Three (3) months experience

     

    Must be 18 years of age

     

    Static strength: exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area.

     

    Worker must be able to obtain a valid Class D Driver's License within 2 weeks of reporting to work and possess/maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

    As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

     

    Bonus potential based on work performance at the sole discretion of the employer.

    EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
