    Our client, a leading organization in the retail technology space, is seeking a Deployment/Release Engineering Technical Lead to join their team. As a Lead, you will be part of the Release Engineering and Quality Operations functions supporting multiple product and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, stakeholder management abilities, and excellent attention to detail to ensure consistent, compliant, high-quality deployments across environments.

    Deployment/Release Engineering Technical Lead

    Location:

    Onsite Cincinnati, OH preferred – Open to Remote

     

    What’s the Job?

     

    + Define and enforce feature toggle lifecycle policies, maintain centralized visibility, and ensure full documentation.

    + Build and maintain dashboards showing environment deployments, toggle states, configuration history, and release status.

    + Integrate feature management tools with CI/CD pipelines, automate environment checks, and ensure traceability from commit to production.

    + Develop toggle-aware quality engineering strategies and ensure stable, consistent deployments across all environments.

    + Conduct governance audits, generate leadership reports, and act as the primary point of contact for release readiness and deployment compliance.

     

    What’s Needed?

     

    + Strong experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD and ServiceNow for change tracking.

    + Familiarity with Harness, Helm, Kubernetes, and continuous deployment automation tools.

    + Proficiency with observability and dashboarding solutions such as Dynatrace, Power BI, or Grafana.

    + Experience implementing governance frameworks, audit trails, and environment consistency processes.

    + Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical details into business-friendly language while aligning cross-functional teams.
