    Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Material Handler I to join their team. As a Material Handler I, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, physical stamina, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Material Handler I

    **Location:** North Haven, CT

    Pay Range: Open

    **Shift:** Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise

    + Scan items out of their location systematically and move them physically to the dock and staging areas

    + Receive returns systematically and store them in proper locations

    + Unload trailers using pallet jacks and hand trucks, handling items weighing between 50-500 lbs

    + Assemble bikes and stage them in the finished bike area, following SOP guidelines

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + At least 2 years of warehouse or related experience

    + Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds

    + Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scanners

    + Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

    + Strong attention to safety policies and procedures
