Our client, a leading healthcare provider in the dental industry, is seeking a Dental Assistant-Oral Surgery/IV Sedation to join their team. As a Dental Assistant-Oral Surgery/IV Sedation, you will be part of the Oral Surgery Department supporting dental residents and students. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Dental Assistant-Oral Surgery/IV Sedation

**Location:** New York, NY 10010

**Pay Range:** $25-32hr

What's the Job?

+ Provide oral surgical assistance to dental residents and students during procedures

+ Assist in the administration of IV sedation and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures

+ Perform tests, prepare dental castings, and dispense medications and instructions

+ Perform minor dental and surgical procedures ensuring safety and compliance

+ Ensure the safe use, disposal, and storage of chemicals and hazardous materials

What's Needed?

+ At least 2 years of related experience in dental assisting or oral surgery

+ Graduate of a Dental Assistant Training Program

+ Knowledge of four-handed chairside dental techniques and dental lab equipment

+ Experience with IV sedation or general anesthesia in a dental setting (1-2 years)

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
