Description
We're seeking an experienced Risk Manager to lead our Last Mile discovery program supporting legal proceedings in the Delivery Service Partner (DSP) organization. This role will serve as the primary owner for managing, organizing, and preserving safety-related documentation while coordinating discovery responses for legal proceedings. The position requires deep understanding of Last Mile operations, safety programs, documentation requirements, and the ability to bridge business and legal needs.
Key job responsibilities
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of safety programs, initiatives, and evolution
• Lead development of clear, accurate narratives explaining Amazon's safety-first culture and specific programs
• Create structured frameworks for discussing safety investments, innovations, and continuous improvements
• Track safety policy changes, implementation dates, and program modifications
• Develop and maintain safety document retention protocols
• Coordinate with operational teams to ensure proper documentation of safety practices
• Build and maintain a searchable repository of safety-related materials
• Coordinate safety-related data collection across multiple systems
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of discovery responses
• Create efficient processes for recurring discovery requests
• Lead quality control reviews of discovery productions
• Build escalation processes for complex discovery issues
• Establish metrics for program effectiveness
• Partner with legal to identify additional opportunities
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
- 5+ years of program or project Management experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
