    Description

    Sensitive Content Intelligence team protects customers from exposure to sensitive content and enhance their trust in Devices/Alexa across all languages, locales, experiences and modalities (image, text, video, and audio). The team leverages natural language understanding (Generative AI), machine learning, and big data to help identify sensitive content. We serve customers with tier-1 services and tools that let customers to have a fun engaging conversation with Alexa. We are a highly collaborative, fast moving, and fun team that uses innovative technology solutions for real time customer experience enhancement.

     

    The Senior TPM will be responsible for the execution of critical programs to safeguards customer experiences through its Responsible AI guardrails and customer feedback loop. Guardrails are across several dimensions such as policy, privacy, security, and safety and across the end-to-end architecture – data ingestion, model training, runtime flow, and post-runtime analysis. he role also involves scoping and delivering large projects end-to-end, collecting requirements, writing specifications, and coordinating design/implementation efforts. Ideally, you possess a strong program management background, demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects, and a well-rounded technical proficiency in current AI technologies.

    Key job responsibilities

    • A senior TPM in Sensitive Content Intelligence will make critical decisions on customer needs and will guide the delivery priorities of the engineering and science teams.

    • Manage science based projects, builds release schedules in coordination with engineering, and launches.

    • Aligned with the leadership goals and roadmap, the senior TPM will collect the data and measure the delivery outcome to ensure that the solution meets the CX expectations.

    • Build relationships and manage by influence in a matrix organization to solve complex AI problems with tight timelines

    • The senior TPM owns the project execution, progress, success metrics and status communication in Leadership Review (LR) meetings to directors and VPs.

    • The role manages the project risks, removes the project blockers and resolves issues for timely feature delivery.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

     

    - Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent

     

    - Experience managing cross-functional programs and release schedules

     

    - Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps

     

    - Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
