As a **Security Officer - Telecom Facility Driver** in **Anderson, SC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This role requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities as part of your duties. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions as required.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Operate and monitor security-related systems such as access control devices and surveillance equipment as required.

+ Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and on-site staff to maintain a professional and secure environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
