As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.

+ Monitor and report on any unusual activity or security-related concerns observed during patrols.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

+ Follow all site-specific instructions and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the client.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as required in response to incidents.

+ Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly after incidents or patrols.

+ Remain alert to security-related risks and respond appropriately to changing conditions or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
