Job Descriptions:

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

The Housekeeping Associate performs a full range of cleaning and sanitation work throughout the company facilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

+ Clean and sanitize restrooms using established practices and procedures

+ Clean, dust, and wipe furniture

+ Empty wastebaskets and trash containers

+ Clear cardboard waste from production and other areas

+ Refill restroom dispensers

+ Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools, buffers, vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.

+ Wash walls and equipment

+ Move furniture, equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basis

+ Water company interior plants

+ Wash accessible interior windows and clean blinds

+ Assist with running daily business errands

+ Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving history

+ Must be at assigned worksite during assigned hours 100% of time; less PTO, FML/STD/LTD

Other Job Functions

+ Escort vending representatives while on campus

+ Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies

+ Other duties may be assigned

+ None

Required Experience:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

+ Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards

+ Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors

+ Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary

+ Ability to adhere to workplace rules

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

+ Ability to read and comprehend labels and instructions

+ Strong attention to detail

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

+ HS diploma or equivalent

+ A minimum of 3 years of experience

WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

+ Office and production environment

+ Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time

+ Ability to perform repetitive motion using common tools of the trade

+ Must be able to climb a ladder, bend, squat, reach and perform tasks in small spaces

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

+ Ability to work indoors and outdoors

+ Ability to work overtime or weekends as required
