    Program Manager, US In-Life (Direct & Partner Sales Execution)

    Job Description:

    The Program Manager, US In-Life (Direct & Partner Sales Execution) is a critical role responsible for driving key strategic and operational initiatives across Sage’s In-Life organization. This role supports both the Direct Intacct and Partner motions, ensuring that programs are designed and delivered with precision, visibility, and measurable business impact.

     

    Reporting to the VP of Medium In-Life (US), the Program Manager will partner closely with senior commercial leaders, RTR, PMM, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Enablement to execute programs that support Sage’s strategic goals — including improved retention, add-on growth, and predictable ARR performance.

     

    Operating in a fast-paced and matrixed environment, this individual will connect strategy to execution by managing large, cross-functional initiatives, establishing governance frameworks, and driving accountability. Success will depend on strong program management discipline, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to deliver results through collaboration and influence.

     

    This is a hybrid role - 3 days per week in our Atlanta office.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Program Leadership & Governance

    • Lead and manage cross-functional programs across both Direct and Partner In-Life organizations.

    • Drive governance, visibility, and accountability for strategic initiatives aligned to Sage’s business priorities.

    • Develop project plans, budgets, and risk management frameworks to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

    • Provide consistent progress reporting, performance tracking, and communication to senior leadership.

    Cross-Functional Alignment

    • Collaborate with GTM, Sales Operations, Finance, Enablement, and PMM to translate strategic objectives into executable programs.

    • Coordinate interlocks across teams to ensure consistent execution across Partner and Direct sales motions.

    • Identify dependencies, manage risks, and ensure proactive issue resolution to maintain program momentum.

    Performance Measurement & Insights

    • Measure and communicate program impact on retention, expansion, and ARR growth.

    • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations based on performance data and business outcomes.

    • Anticipate execution challenges and drive course corrections to sustain delivery and impact.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Partner with senior leaders across Sage North America to ensure alignment, visibility, and executional excellence.

    • Build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholder groups.

    • Facilitate communication cadences and leadership updates to ensure clarity and accountability.

    Change Management & Continuous Improvement

    • Champion process improvement and operational excellence within the In-Life organization.

    • Standardize tools, templates, and methodologies to scale program execution.

    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • 5+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional programs or projects in SaaS, software, or technology organizations.

    • Strong background in project and program management methodologies and governance practices.

    • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills — with the ability to influence without authority.

    • Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously while maintaining quality and speed.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven decision-maker.

    • Experience working within a global or matrixed organization across both Direct and Channel sales motions.

    • Demonstrated success in driving executional discipline, meeting deadlines, and achieving measurable outcomes.

    • Knowledge of SaaS subscription business models, including renewal and add-on growth dynamics.

    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to evolving business priorities.

    • Growth mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and scalable execution.
