Adjunct Faculty/Kinesiology

The Department of Health, Human Performance, & Physical Education is seeking an energetic and engaging Adjunct Faculty member to teach Kinesiology to students. The incumbent will provide instruction in the biomechanical basis of movement in sport and exercise, and will identify essential elements for basic motor skills. They must emphasize the relationship between the skeletal & neuromuscular systems, and how these systems affect both coordinated movement and athletic performance.
Job Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of a Master's degree in Exercise Science or a closely related field from a recognized college or university, and at least one year of teaching experience. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills are required; the ability to establish a rapport with students and maintain an environment that supports learning and promotes student retention, is required.
All candidates must have evidence of responsiveness to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, as these factors relate to the need for equity-minded practice within the classroom.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: It is preferred that the successful candidate have a Master's degree in Kinesiology, Brightspace experience and 5+ years actively working in the field.

POSITION EFFECTIVE: Spring 2026
SALARY & BENEFITS: $93.84 per hour. No benefits.
