Work Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm (40 hours), Macedon, NY
A Day in the Life of a Team Supervisor:
As a full-time Team Supervisor you will supervise direct care staff while creating a stimulating, sensitive and normalized environment in the Day Habilitation Program
+ Oversees development and implementation of Day Habilitation plans.
+ Provides training to staff.
+ Reviews documentation of service plan interventions and monthly notes. Documents other situations and contacts with other providers as needed.
+ Participates in life plan meetings and completes related documentation.
+ Purchases program supplies within budgetary guidelines and completes correlating requisitions.
+ Relates to people supported in a sensitive and age appropriate manner. Assists people supported with personal, physical and emotional needs as necessary.
+ Participates in building evacuation and fire drills and completes required documentation.
+ Reviews/interviews job applicants and completes paperwork as needed for the hiring process.
+ Administers and charts medications accurately and in accordance with medication administration guidelines and individual care plan. Performs related medication recordkeeping, acquisition, storage and medication counts.
Who We Are Looking For:
+ Associate's Degree in Human Services or related field and one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, or High School Diploma (or GED) and two or more years of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
+ Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
+ Must possess a current, valid New York State Driver's License that meets Agency Driver standards
