About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented **Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)** to join our patient screening and assessment team in **Boise, ID** . This full-time position focuses on conducting clinical assessments to determine donor eligibility in a supportive, fast-paced, and low-stress environment.

You will work with a collaborative team of **5–8 healthcare professionals** , performing straightforward assessments and documentation without the high-pressure responsibilities seen in acute-care settings. **No venipuncture or complex medication administration is required.**

Center Hours of Operation

LPNs work approximately **30 minutes prior to opening** and **1–1.5 hours after closing** .

+ **Sunday:** 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

+ **Monday:** 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM

+ **Tuesday:** 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM

+ **Wednesday:** 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM

+ **Thursday:** 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM

+ **Friday:** 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM

+ **Saturday:** 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Candidates must be able to work full-time, rotate shifts, and work weekends as required.

Key Responsibilities

+ Conduct patient assessments including height, weight, and vital signs

+ Perform fingerstick testing for hematocrit and protein levels

+ Determine donor eligibility following established guidelines

+ Complete accurate and timely documentation

+ Support a positive donor experience through professional, friendly interaction

+ Work collaboratively with fellow LPNs and clinical staff

+ Participate in cross-training within the center to broaden skillset

+ _No venipuncture or complex medication dosage calculations required_

Qualifications

+ Active **LPN license** (required)

+ High attention to detail and strong adherence to protocols

+ Ability to perform in a fast-paced setting with consistent donor flow

+ Friendly, professional communication skills

+ Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
