**Now Hiring:** Brass Handle Cell Operator – Johnson City, TN – $17.25/hr.
**Location:** Johnson City, TN 37604
**Pay:** $17.25/hr.
Schedule:
+ **Training:** 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) for a few weeks
+ **Permanent Shift:** 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sun) OFF Friday & Sunday
+ **Assignment Type:** Temp-to-Hire
Role Overview:
Join our team as a **Brass Handle Cell Operator** , where you’ll assemble, label, paint, and pack rotary instruments following strict quality standards. This hands-on role involves operating multiple machines, performing inspections, and maintaining equipment to ensure precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Operate auto pack, labeling, painting, assembly, and brush machines
+ Load materials, clean equipment, and perform basic machine repairs
+ Paint bands and rings on instruments and complete heat-treating steps
+ Inspect products for quality and verify labels/documentation
+ Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records
+ Use tools such as microscopes, scales, magnets, X-Acto knives, and Allen wrenches
+ Perform additional production tasks as needed
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED preferred; technical degree a plus
+ 1+ year of machine operation or technical experience
+ Ability to handle small, sharp components and operate various machines
+ Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to read/follow procedures, communicate clearly, and perform basic math
+ Basic computer skills (data entry, manufacturing software, email, internet)
**Pay Details:** $17.25 per hour
