    We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient **Senior Engineer or Project Manager** to support and lead solid waste engineering projects across California and the western U.S. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level professional with a strong background in **civil or geotechnical engineering** and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in the **landfill and environmental infrastructure** space.

    Responsibilities

    + **Project Management & Technical Execution**

    + Manage and execute engineering projects related to **solid waste** , **civil infrastructure** , and **geotechnical design** , reporting directly to the **Principal Engineer** .

    + Lead engineering analyses using advanced geotechnical software tools for design and evaluation.

    + Oversee field activities including **construction quality assurance (CQA)** and site observations during landfill construction and closure projects.

    + Prepare comprehensive **engineering reports** , **geotechnical investigations** , and **construction plans and specifications** .

    + **Client Interaction & Team Collaboration**

    + Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure project goals, budgets, and timelines are met.

    + Support proposal development and contribute to business development efforts through technical expertise and client engagement.

    Qualifications

    + **Education & Licensure**

    + Bachelor’s degree in **Civil or Geotechnical Engineering** (

    + **California PE license** required; **GE license** preferred for geotechnical candidates.

    + **Experience**

    + Minimum **10 years** of experience in **civil and/or geotechnical engineering** with a focus on **landfill projects** .

    Proven experience in:

    + Geotechnical and groundwater investigations

    + Landfill expansions and closures

    + Groundwater monitoring and construction oversight

    + Project management and client coordination

    Salary Range:

    160,000-190,000
