Job Title: Manufacturing TechnicianJob Description

The manufacturing technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and controlling equipment, systems, and processes in a regulated environment. They will ensure cleanliness and sanitation of manufacturing, filling, and packaging rooms and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). The role involves executing production schedules to meet production goals and correctly handling labeling and components.

Responsibilities

+ Setup, operate, monitor, and control equipment, systems, and processes.

+ Clean and sanitize manufacturing, filling, and packaging rooms and equipment per SOPs.

+ Execute production schedule to achieve production goals.

+ Handle labeling and components correctly; transferring, counting, FIFO, returns, etc.

+ Actively participate in and support event response.

+ Review and author SOPs and other documents as required.

+ Identify, report, and resolve quality issues.

+ Execute and/or assist during equipment maintenance, including restoration of lost function, predictive and preventative maintenance.

+ Train fellow employees in areas of expertise and learn systems and equipment outside of own expertise.

+ Record/review production data in BPR and associated forms.

+ Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with GMP and cleanroom environments.

+ Previous experience in manufacturing operations in a regulated setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Punctual and present on scheduled days.

+ Ability to stay on-task in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong attention to detail.

Work Environment

The position is for the day shift running from Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm. The role is part of a De-labelling Project expected to last 2 to 4 months.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Durham, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
