Position SummaryThe Maintenance Technician performs production maintenance throughout the Fulfillment facility including but not limited to equipment breakdowns, installation and startups, process improvements, preventative/precision maintenance programs and continuous improvements activities.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

+ * Exhibit excellent proactive maintenance support including performing preventative maintenance tasks and inspections

+ * Troubleshoot, diagnose, and execute repairs in a safe, timely manner

+ * Work closely with Plant Manager in handling contractor and 3rd party work orders and schedules

+ * Utilize CMMS software to track, plan, and execute any projects, preventative maintenance, and work orders

+ * Read and decipher mechanical drawings, schematics, and diagrams

+ * Work closely with the Plant Manager, Quality Assurance, and Health & Safety to ensure safe, clean work environment that adheres to SQF and GMP guidelines

+ * Build and maintain positive working relationships with all teams, peers, and departments

+ * Maintain accurate records and data

Required Skills and Experience

+ * Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field

+ * Proficient in Lock Out/ Tag Out (LOTO)

+ * Proficient in knowledge of bearings, pulleys, chain drives, belt drives, and lubricants standards

+ * Previous experience with powered conveyor systems and supporting equipment

+ * Ability to provide mechanical troubleshooting, communicate effectively, and work with minimal supervision

+ * Strong problem-solving skills

+ * Ability to be flexible to business priorities in a constantly changing, fast-paced work environment

Preferred Skills and Experience

+ * Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics

+ * Previous experience in machine shop to fabricate within specific tolerance

+ * Experience and knowledge of personal/process control computers, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and networking devices

+ * Allen Bradley experience

Physical Requirements

+ Regularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and arms

+ Frequently required to stand, communicate, and listen

+ Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch

+ Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

+ Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

+ Able to perform repetitive movements

+ Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)
