The Senior Product Owner is responsible for conveying product vision, breaking down the work, building roadmap, and being the voice of our users. You will enable an Agile delivery team by defining user stories and prioritizing product backlog. The Product Owner works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. In this role you will be on a team of DevSecOps and security engineers doing analysis, validation, hunting bugs, driving DevSecOps, driving cultural transformation and building our internal self-service tools, and driving security outcomes for Product Security.
The Product Owner maximizes value of product created by Agile team. Liaises with stakeholders and the development team ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline. Serves as the Agile team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making. Advises senior leadership to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of application security, devops/devsecops or cyber security practitioner. Strong background in product management or leading security outcomes required.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as Product Owner for our Product Security driving security outcomes and building our internal cyber security products.
• Maintain and prioritize backlog for our internal product team.
• Maintain product roadmap and oversee delivery schedule
• Serve as internal evangelist and communicator for our internal product security teams.
• Contributes to inner source and demonstrates engineering community engagement.
• Suggest and execute common solutions to broad problems.
• Contribute to and execute on our secure engineering strategy for the enterprise.
• Partner with our Principal DevOps Engineer, Engineering Directors, Compliance, Governance, and DevOps teams.
• Improve and expand security outcomes across our entire portfolio of applications through automation and self-service.
• Mentor others, you love to share and support, serve as expert for escalated analysis.
Use your skills to make an impact
Required:
• Strong experience leading a product or development team.
• Exposure to SaaS, AppSec, Pen Testing, and Cyber Security solutions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Exposure to one of the following: C#, Javascript, Java, Python, TypeScript, etc.
• Understands developer needs, workflows, tools and agile ways of working.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
• Must be passionate about developer experience, privacy, security, quality and product delivery
• Experience with CI/CD practices using JIRA, GitLab Azure DevOps, GitHub or similar.
• Uses AI and leverages system thinking.
Preferred:
• Product Owner Certification
• Strong experience in establishing and rolling out DevOps or DevSecOps
• Cloud experience with Azure, GCP, AWS, Heroku – Azure/GP/AWS Preferred
Remote/WAH requirements:
+ WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
+ A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
+ Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
+ A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$94,900 - $130,500 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
