    We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Technician for our 1st shift. This role involves facilitating production operations by performing a variety of tasks, including operating and monitoring equipment, assembling units, and inspecting sub-assemblies and finished goods.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and monitor equipment to ensure smooth production operations.

    + Replenish materials as needed to maintain production flow.

    + Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.

    + Perform general warehouse duties including picking and packing.

    + Inspect sub-assemblies and finished goods for quality assurance.

    + Maintain equipment and clean production areas.

    + Stand for extended periods and perform strenuous repetitive activities.

    + Lift up to 50 pounds as required for production tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in packaging, production, and inspection.

    + Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous packaging experience is a plus.

    Work Environment

    The position is for the 1st shift, working 8 hours a day from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The role requires standing for long periods and performing physically demanding tasks.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Durham, NC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
