    Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

    • Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team, focusing on front-end and processing tasks. This role involves a dynamic rotation between the processing area and front desk, providing comprehensive support in a bustling pharmacy environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Answer phones and process refills and new prescriptions using pharmacy software.

    + Assist walk-in customers at the front desk with transactions and inquiries.

    + Manage voicemails and triage calls to pharmacists in the processing room.

    + Fax prescriber refill requests and support processing pharmacists with various tasks.

    + Handle organizational tasks such as sorting hard copies, cutting bubble wrap for shipping, and shredding PHI.

    + Perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving containers up to 20lbs.

    Essential Skills

    + Pharmacy technician certification or license.

    + 1+ year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in any setting.

    + Proficiency in pharmacy software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Strong customer service skills and experience.

    + Excellent data entry, typing skills, and general computer literacy.

    + Ability to multitask effectively, manage time, and prioritize tasks.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    + Proven history of reliability and positive attendance.

    + Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Dependable team player with a strong work ethic.

    Work Environment

    The position is based in a call-center-like environment on the second floor of the building, characterized by low cubicle walls. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with every third Saturday, rotating through three shifts: opening (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM), mid (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM), and closing (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM). Employees must have a dedicated pair of lab shoes, which are to be kept clean and worn only inside the facility.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, OR.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
