Job Title: Quality Control Manager
Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a Quality Control Manager overseeing a $6 million Design-Bid-Build construction project. This exciting role involves managing a 13,000 square foot new construction project that includes working directly with steel and concrete. As a key player, you will ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout the project.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee quality control for a $6 million Design-Bid-Build construction project.
+ Manage construction activities involving steel and concrete.
+ Ensure compliance with USACE and NAVFAC standards.
+ Conduct regular quality inspections and audits.
+ Implement safety standards in accordance with OSHA30.
+ Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality and safety objectives are met.
Essential Skills
+ 7+ years of Quality Control experience on relevant construction projects.
+ Active CQM certification.
+ OSHA30 certification.
+ Experience in new construction projects involving steel and concrete.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with safety standards and first aid procedures.
+ Knowledge of ECATTS systems.
Work Environment
The work environment is set in a government NAVFAC at Norfolk Naval. The position requires comfort with working outdoors and adapting to the unique conditions of a naval base. The role involves collaboration with joint ventures and working in a team-focused atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $51.00/hr.
