**POSITION PERFORMANCE PLAN** _–_ Manager, Racquet Sports Administration
**Position Summary** : This position is responsible for the administrative management of the tennis and pickleball programs.

Position Performance Area/Expectations:
+ Works collaboratively with all department leaders to ensure department and club goals are achieved.
+ Promotes and implements tennis and pickleball programs to meet or exceed targeted revenues in accordance with budget.
+ Monitors financial performance, opportunities for improvement and condition of all tennis and pickleball programs.
+ Ensures members and guests are provided with high quality, professional tennis and pickleball instruction that focuses on learning, safety and enjoyment.
+ Provides leadership and motivation to all tennis and pickleball staff, fostering an environment that encourages professional growth and excellence in performance.
+ Responsible for directing work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing concerns and complaints, and solving problems.
+ Serves as a liaison between Healthplex and the community it serves.
+ Supports special events and tournaments in an administrative capacity as needed.
+ Ensures court appearance and surroundings areas are presentable.
+ Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with Healthplex policies and applicable laws.
+ Develops annual operating and capital budget for Tennis and Pickleball departments.
+ Manages departmental performance against targets and budgets in accordance with Healthplex procedures and policies standards.
+ As required, complete and/or approve racquet-program account adjustment forms with a high degree of accuracy and timelines.
+ Orients and trains staff while assuring staff adherence to policies and procedures.
+ Ensures all staff certifications are up to date.
+ Attends mandatory departmental meetings within areas of responsibility as well as Healthplex Management Team meetings and Healthplex Operations Team meetings.
+ Leads by example and adheres to Healthplex and RCMC policies and procedures, code of conduct, and iCare/Promise values.
+ Serves as Manager on Duty.
**Position Requirements** :
+ Education: High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree level of education is preferred
+ Certifications:
+ American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR/AED certification
+ Special Skills:
+ Excellent customer service skills
+ Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
+ Experience:
+ Minimum 3-5 years of previous management experience
+ Other:
+ Strong knowledge of tennis and pickleball sports and industry is highly preferred.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to Word, Powerpoint and Excel
+ Ability to develop and manage a financial budget.
+ Computer knowledge with regards to Club Automation (preferred)
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to work in high pressure situations, manage multiple deadlines and frequent interruptions, and strong attention to detail.
+ Customer service oriented and able to relate to all levels of staff.
+ May need to work early mornings, evenings and/or weekends to ensure center goals are met.
