Posting Summary
Lead triaging analyst for all operational aspects of information technology (IT) procurement contracts and serve as a liaison between Purchasing Services and University departments to ensure emerging requests are identified, appropriate documentation included, prioritized, reviewed, and resolved in a thorough and timely manner. Manage workload with all activities related to the reviewing of IT procurement contracts to ensure all legal protections and terms and conditions are reviewed per policy and meeting instructed IT compliance protocols. Oversee and manage the current contract management software platform, while onboarding/training, standardizing workflow, continuous improvement for building best practices, and recommending strategic initiatives to enhance processes. Work to ensure information technology and accessibility standards are met by partnering with the University’s Information Security Officer, Director of Enterprise Applications, Chief Technology Officer and the ADA /504 Coordinator. This position is expected to be completely familiar with all aspects of contracting, legal review, and provide excellent internal and external customer service. This position is expected to possess a moderate understanding of ADA regulations and IT software and hardware requirements to assess risk to the University. Excellent organizational skills are required to manage the status of all contracts that require a technical or ADA review while meeting multiple deadlines and responding to unique stakeholders’ needs. Work with the Director of Purchasing to take the lead on short and long-term projects, specialized strategic initiatives and/or leadership skills. (e.g., prepare Board of Trustees documents, participate in software RFP’s and other special projects as assigned. Maintain close relationships with the Office of Compliance and the Office of General Counsel.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
+ Bachelor’s degree.
+ Four to five years of relevant experience in IT contract review or contract management in higher education.
+ Knowledge and understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act and accessibility, information security and data integration issues, data privacy and security laws and regulations required.
+ Ability to manage workload, set priorities, and meet required deadlines.
+ Experience with a variety of software platforms, such as word processing, spreadsheets, Adobe applications and contract management software.
+ Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
+ Strong analytical skills for problem resolution and complex contract analysis.
+ Ability to interact with many levels of staff, senior management and external suppliers professionally.
Desirable Qualifications
Law Degree/J.D. or paralegal certification and 10+ years of experience. For someone meeting these qualifications the anticipated pay range is up to $103,000
Anticipated Pay Range $80,000 to $90,000
Other Information
Special Conditions Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), This position is eligible for full-time telework in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
