Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Description
Join our team as an Assembly Technician where you will be responsible for assembling aerospace components in accordance with blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards. Utilize hand tools, calibrated torque equipment, adhesives, and sealants to ensure precision and excellence in your work.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble aerospace components per blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards.
+ Install hardware, including bushings, bearings, fasteners, rivets, and cotter pins, using proper methods and torque specifications.
+ Follow sealant and epoxy mixing procedures, perform limited paint touch-ups, and handle chemicals per SDS requirements.
+ Conduct in-process inspections and dimensional checks using height gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools.
+ Complete required documentation, including NC reports and red tags, ensuring accurate data submission and traceability.
Essential Skills
+ Production experience in aerospace component assembly.
+ Proficient in deburring metal and working with titanium.
+ Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform precision assembly tasks.
+ Basic computer skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to stay focused and alert while performing repetitive tasks.
+ Punctual, polite, and respectful of coworkers.

Work Environment
You will work in a very clean and organized aerospace manufacturing facility, operating during day shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The environment supports a focus on high-quality standards and methods, providing an excellent setting for both entry-level and proficient operators.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sumner, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
