    Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all industrial sanitation machines, as well as the facility and its integrated systems. Your focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of machines both inside and outside of cleanrooms.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform HVAC filter changes and routine inspections, with elevated issues contracted out.

    + Conduct basic plumbing and pipe repairs.

    + Service boilers and steam systems.

    + Repair and replace pumps and pressure systems.

    + Handle repair and replacement of light fixtures, outlets, and equipment hookups.

    + Service and repair water filtration and treatment systems.

    + Troubleshoot pneumatic systems.

    + Conduct electrical troubleshooting up to 460, 3-phase.

    + Correctly and consistently follow LOTO procedures.

    + Perform mechanical repairs on basic gears and motors.

    + Rig machines when necessary.

    Essential Skills

    + Previous mechanical troubleshooting experience

    + Highly detail-oriented

    + Safety-minded and proactive

    + Ability to provide and use basic tools

    + Reliable and motivated to learn

    + Experience in facilities maintenance, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with plumbing, HVAC, preventive maintenance, and building maintenance

    + Ability to work all three shifts

    + Willingness to enter cleanrooms for repairs, requiring partial bunny suit

    + Occasional availability for pre-planned services or repairs on Saturdays

    Work Environment

     

    Operate in Class 4, 7, and 8 cleanrooms within an ISO certified facility. The schedule is Monday through Friday with shifts starting at 3am, 5am, or 7am. You will have some overlap with other technicians, but will work independently in the later part of the day.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsboro, OR.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $39.00/hr.
