Job Title: Warehouse Equipment Operators Needed in the Lenexa/KCK area

STAND UP AND SIT DOWN FORKLIFT OPERATORS AND CHERRY PICKERS NEEDED!

Job Description

The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for picking and packing parts in a non-climate controlled warehouse. The role involves moving products ranging from the size of an Apple Watch to a flat-screen TV. Flexibility in job duties is essential as the warehouse distributes a variety of products. The role primarily involves standing on a line for packaging, matching numbers and labels, and picking products throughout the warehouse.

Responsibilities

+ Pick and pack parts in a non-climate controlled environment.

+ Move a wide range of products, from small to large sizes.

+ Stand on a packing line all day for packaging products.

+ Match numbers and labels accurately.

+ Pick products throughout the warehouse.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in picking, packing, and warehouse operations.

+ Knowledge of RF scan procedures.

+ Material handling and loading skills.

+ Order picking, labeling, and stacking proficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 6+ months of experience in a warehouse environment.

+ Familiarity with basic Microsoft Word preferred.

+ 1+ years of stand-up forklift or cherry picker experience is advantageous for equipment operating positions.

Work Environment

The warehouse operates with shifts from 5:00 am to 2:00 pm (Monday to Friday) and 2:00 pm to 12:30 am (Monday to Thursday). During normal operations, the warehouse staff consists of about 30 people, expanding to 50 during peak season. The environment is relaxed, with a dress code requiring close-toed shoes, pants, and a T-shirt. Offensive tattoos must be covered. The warehouse houses over 7500 different products, and while it is not climate-controlled, the community-focused team ensures a supportive work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LENEXA, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
