    Job Title: Warehouse Shipping Associate

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team dedicated to developing pioneering solutions for biomedical science and clinical applications of cell therapies. As a Warehouse Shipping Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of our shipping and receiving processes, contributing to the success of our biotechnology organization.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs), including electric pallet jacks and turret trucks.

    + Perform basic transactions using ERP and RF systems.

    + Support the receiving and inspection of incoming materials, ensuring accurate data entry in ERP systems and adhering to GDP.

    + Label, stage, and store materials in appropriate warehouse locations, including cold storage, following cGMP and safety protocols.

    + Pick, pack, prepare, and ship orders, including hazardous and biological materials, in compliance with cGMP and approved procedures.

    + Fulfill reservations to support CDMO operations efficiently.

    + Transport materials across the site, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards and safety protocols.

    + Assist with daily and weekly inventory cycle counts to maintain accurate material tracking and inventory control.

    + Deliver materials to internal teams, ensuring all movements are documented according to GDP.

    + Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cGMP, and GDP rigorously in all tasks.

    + Use shipping software to prepare outbound shipments accurately and maintain related documentation.

    + Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas consistent with cGMP requirements.

    + Comply with all applicable safety regulations, including the use of PPE and handling of hazardous materials.

    + Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 2 years of experience with GMP.

    + Knowledge of SAP.

    + Valid Driver's License.

    + Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, etc.).

    + Ability to pass computer exams.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with forklifts/cherry pickers is preferred.

    + Open-minded, team player, with a good attitude.

    + Flexibility with shift timings.

    Work Environment

     

    The role supports basic daily warehouse operations in a highly regulated environment, ensuring materials are handled, labeled, stored, and shipped safely. The work requires adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP), with a strong focus on detail, time management, and consistency in following procedures. The standard shift is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, but flexibility is required as shifts may change to 10 am to 7 pm.

    This is a Contract position based out of Gaithersburg, MD.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
