    Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing company. This role involves approximately 50% equipment-based maintenance and 50% general facility tasks, with a strong focus on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform scheduled weekly and monthly preventive maintenance on machinery and facility systems.

    + Complete work orders and maintain records of all preventive maintenance activities.

    + Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, including replacing sensors and identifying root causes of malfunctions.

    + Assist with minor mechanical repairs and adjustments; escalate complex repairs to specialized contractors.

    + Support troubleshooting of rooftop HVAC units (RTUs) when needed, while major HVAC work is outsourced.

    + Perform general building maintenance, including painting, minor plumbing, and office furniture assembly as needed.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 1+ year of maintenance experience

    + General competency in Microsoft and computer systems, documentation

    + Familiarity with electrical systems, control panels, and motors

    + Boilers license, HVAC and PLC knowledge and troubleshooting is a plus but not required

    Work Environment

     

    You will work as part of a team with three other maintenance professionals in a spacious warehouse and facility headquarters. This position involves a first shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, from 6 AM to 4:30 PM. Enjoy a supportive team environment with no on-call requirements.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Little Canada, MN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
