    Job Title: Laser Setup Operator

    Job Description

    The Laser Setup Operator will be responsible for operating lasers, shears, and brake press machinery to fabricate and form parts for customers across the United States. This role requires previous setup experience, nesting abilities, and proficiency in using calipers and micrometers. The candidate must also be able to operate five different machines and work alongside another team member.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate lasers, shears, and brake press machinery.

    + Assist in the fabrication and forming of parts for customers.

    + Perform machine setup and nesting tasks.

    + Utilize calipers and micrometers accurately.

    + Collaborate with a team member to ensure efficient operation of machinery.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience in laser operation.

    + 3+ years of experience in shear operation.

    + 3+ years of experience in brake press operation.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

    + Experience with press brake, turret punch press, and shear press.

    + Machine setup and CNC operation skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with CNC Mazak brake press and Amada turret punch press.

    + Familiarity with CNC/Amada CO2 and fiber optic lasers.

    + Ability to perform tasks interchangeably on turret punch press, lasers, and shears.

    Work Environment

     

    The role operates on the 1st shift, with a schedule of four 10-hour days from Monday to Thursday, rotating weekly to Tuesday through Friday. Enjoy 3-4 day weekends in a supportive and family-oriented environment.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Butler, WI.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
