Job Title: Automotive Technician

Job Description

As an Automotive Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing service bodies, platforms, dumps, van packages, hoists, ladder racks, and Sortimo units. You will also install electrical components, circuits, and other electrical wiring, and complete general light mechanical assembly tasks using hand, power, air, and other auxiliary tools.

Responsibilities

+ Install service bodies, platforms, dumps, and van packages.

+ Set up hoists, ladder racks, and Sortimo units.

+ Install electrical components and circuits.

+ Perform general light mechanical assembly tasks.

+ Utilize hand, power, air, and other auxiliary tools to complete installations.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in using a plasma cutter, hand and power tools, and cutting torch.

+ Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.

+ Experience with MIG welding, automotive repair, and mechanical assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Able to provide own set of general tools.

+ Wear PPE in certain areas when required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of McHenry, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
