    Job Description

    The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for operating power industrial trucks and machinery to efficiently move products, materials, and supplies within the facility. This role involves loading items onto trucks, shelves, racks, and pallets. Candidates will be required to operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate forklifts to transport materials and products within the warehouse.

    + Load and unload items from trucks, shelves, racks, and pallets.

    + Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and order picking.

    + Handle general labor tasks as required in the warehouse.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 6 months of experience operating stand-up or sit-down forklifts.

    + Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

    + Basic math skills for accurate inventory management.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with RF scanners and order picking.

    + Knowledge of inventory management and material handling procedures.

    Shifts:

    1st shift options: 9AM - 5:45PM Monday - Friday OR 7AM - 3:30PM Monday - Friday

     

    3rd shift: 10PM - 7AM, Sunday - Thursday

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a manufacturing and production setting, where employees may be exposed to high and precarious places, moving machinery, and varying temperatures and humidity levels. The environment can be loud and is not climate-controlled, with very hot conditions in the summer and normal temperatures in the winter. Approximately 300 employees work indoors in this facility, and the dress code requires steel-toed footwear, jeans, or shorts.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Council Bluffs, IA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00/hr.
