Job Title: Asbestos Project Manager
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented **Asbestos Project Manager** to oversee asbestos abatement projects from planning through completion. This leadership role requires strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, proven project management skills, and the ability to coordinate teams and resources to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality results.
Responsibilities
+ Manage asbestos abatement projects from initiation to close-out, ensuring compliance with **EPA, OSHA, and state regulations**
+ Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress and adjust as needed
+ Supervise and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and equipment deployment
+ Conduct site assessments, prepare work scopes, and ensure proper containment and safety procedures
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction
+ Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs, air monitoring reports, and regulatory paperwork
+ Identify and resolve project challenges proactively to keep work on track
+ Ensure adherence to company safety standards and promote a culture of safety on all job sites
Essential Skills
+ Minimum **3 years of experience** in asbestos abatement or hazardous materials remediation
+ At least **2 years in a project management or supervisory role**
+ **AHERA Asbestos Supervisor Certification** (required)
+ Strong knowledge of asbestos regulations and industry best practices
+ Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
+ Proficiency in project documentation and reporting
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with **budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation**
+ Ability to lift up to **50 lbs** and perform site visits in physically demanding environments
+ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
+ Familiarity with other environmental remediation disciplines (lead, mold, etc.) is a plus

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
