Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

As a General Production Worker, you will be integral in handling bulk products, ensuring they are efficiently prepared and processed. This role involves frequently handling bags of products weighing between 30-50 lbs.

Responsibilities

+ Read ingredient labels and count the number of bags on a pallet.

+ Stack bags of products as they come off the production line.

+ Seal bags of products as they are processed.

+ Bag products efficiently as they come off the production line.

+ Dump 50-pound bags of product into the appropriate equipment.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in general production work.

+ Ability to lift heavy bags and handle physical tasks.

+ Proficiency in bagging and handling quality press machines.

Work Environment

Work in a food production facility handling powder products. Safety is a priority, with required PPE including safety hats, hair nets, glasses, jackets, pants, and steel-toed footwear. Expect to wear a full uniform and be prepared for floating food particles in certain areas. Shifts run Monday through Thursday, with the potential for overtime, especially around holidays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tomah, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.45 - $18.45/hr.
