Description

We are looking for a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team on a contract basis in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this role, you will assist clients with individual tax return preparation, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations during the preparation process.

• Utilize Lacerte Tax Software to complete tax filings efficiently and effectively.

• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and clarify any discrepancies.

• Provide expert guidance to clients regarding tax-related questions and best practices.

• Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate filings.

• Maintain organized records of client information and tax documentation.

• Collaborate with team members to address complex tax scenarios and provide solutions.

• Assist in identifying potential tax savings opportunities for clients.

Requirements • Proven experience in preparing individual tax returns with a strong attention to detail.

• Proficiency in using Lacerte Tax Software for tax preparation.

• In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations related to individual tax filings.

• Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with clients.

• Ability to analyze financial data and identify tax-saving opportunities.

• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple clients and deadlines.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information responsibly.
