Description

Our client in Rocky Hill is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with a reputable organization while developing your accounting and administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Accurately enter billing data into accounting systems and spreadsheets

+ Prepare invoices, review for errors, and ensure timely delivery to clients

+ Maintain and update billing records and documentation

+ Communicate professionally with internal departments and clients regarding billing inquiries

+ Assist with account reconciliations and reporting as needed

Requirements

+ Previous data entry experience (preferably in a billing or accounting environment)

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting, basic reporting)

+ High attention to detail and accuracy

+ Strong organizational and time management skills

+ Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable

+ Familiarity with bookkeeping or accounting software
