    Description We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This position requires expertise in managing and optimizing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, with a strong focus on Azure Virtual Desktop deployment and lifecycle management. As a client-facing role, you will need excellent communication skills to translate business needs into secure, scalable cloud solutions. This is a Contract to permanent employment opportunity.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, configure, and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop host pools, application groups, and session settings.

    • Optimize image management processes, FSLogix profiles, autoscaling configurations, and system monitoring.

    • Troubleshoot connectivity issues, performance concerns, and application delivery within Azure Virtual Desktop environments.

    • Manage and support Azure infrastructure components, including virtual networks, network security groups, load balancers, and storage solutions.

    • Implement identity and access governance across Azure resources to ensure a secure and compliant environment.

    • Monitor and resolve issues related to the health and performance of Azure services.

    • Configure and enforce conditional access policies, authentication methods, and device compliance within Microsoft Entra ID.

    • Administer Microsoft 365 settings, including permissions, sharing policies, and security configurations across Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and OneDrive.

    • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and execute cloud adoption and migration strategies.

    • Document configurations, standards, and best practices while identifying and addressing security and configuration gaps. Requirements • At least 5 years of experience in Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.

    • Proficiency in deploying and managing Azure Virtual Desktop in production environments.

    • Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure fundamentals such as virtual networks, load balancing, and storage management.

    • Hands-on experience with cloud migration processes and strategies.

    • Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID and identity governance, including multi-factor authentication and conditional access.

    • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and security frameworks.

    • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based systems effectively.

    • Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
